Securing your home

Influenster

Influenster

Google Nest focuses on how to keep people secure with smart technology including doorbells, security cameras, Nest hubs, and more.

The nature of this work is confidential so I will not be able to show project visuals. However, I will provide context on the work I've done, what is public knowledge and the team I was a part of.

The Project

I was contracted to work on projects related to the ADT + Google partnership. The partnership leverages Google's technology and ADTs hardware to secure people's home and make safety & security smarter. Read more on the partnership here.

The project included designing native Google experiences as well as collaborating with teams working on ADT experiences across device types.

My Role

I was a UX Designer working on creating easy, quick and efficient experiences for the consumer and ADT professionals.

I collaborated very closely with other UX Designers, Content Designers, User Researchers, Product Managers and leadership to meet our deliverables.

I worked closely with a Design Program Manager and Designer on a timeline that would guide our work from the beginning to the end of the project. I also joined UXR sessions to learn how our designs were impacting users and collaborated on designing iterations that met core needs.

Finally, I owned parts of the experience and cross collaborated with parallel teams to ensure teams were aligned.
